Test Tube Rocker

A test tube rocker is used in laboratories when biological mixing is required. Test tube rockers are typically used for mixing blood samples when gentle rocking is required. For more vigorous mixing methods a digital rotator or vortex mixer could be used.

Test tube rockers can be used for a number of laboratory tasks such as staining and de-staining gels, washing, blotting and gentle mixing of cell cultures.

The LW Scientific blood test tube rocker uses a two-dimensional platform that moves in a see-saw motion, creating waves in the liquid sample.

The LW blood rocker accomodates up to 16 test tubes on a soft flexible test tube pad. The pad is easily removed for cleaning and is made of a soft grippy material eliminating the need for bands or straps to secure the test tubes in position.
